Description
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum
This deciduous shrub is known as the Japanese Snowball Bush because of its lace-capped, white flowers, which bloom from late spring to early summer in an exquisite, eye-catching display. The spreading, tiered branches of the heart-shaped green foliage of Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum are super famous. As autumn approaches, the leaves turn red and purple, adding late-season interest to garden borders. This large shrub looks great in cottage gardens, woodland areas, or as a standalone specimen.
