Description
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Kilimanjaro’
The unique, tiered branches of this magnificent, resilient shrub are adorned with elegant white lacecap blossoms. As summer draws to a close, the vibrant green foliage transforms into tones of burnt orange and gold for a spectacular autumn show. Winter birds benefit from the glossy red berries that ripen to black and provide a significant source of food. This Japanese Snowball Bush has a more upright habit than other Japanese Snowball Bushes, making it ideal for gardens with limited space. Kilimanjaro Viburnum is a low-maintenance deciduous shrub. Mixed borders, cottage gardens, and forest planting plans will benefit from the addition of color and attractive architecture. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 2m (6.5′)
