Description
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Kilimanjaro Sunrise’
Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Kilimanjaro Sunrise’ is a pretty wonderful cultivar of this well-known species. Lacecap blooms appear in late spring and are white with a gentle pink blush. They are accompanied by groups of blood-red berries that mature to black. The heart-shaped foliage covers the distinctive, horizontally tiered branches. In the autumn, the leaves turn brilliant shades of orange and red, adding a pop of colour to woodland areas and borders. The prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year 2015 award has been bestowed upon us! Height: 3m (10?). Spread: 1.5m (5?).
