Vinca minor ?Gertrude Jekyll? ? Lesser periwinkle Vinca minor ?Gertrude Jekyll? blooms from April to October, it creates glossy evergreen foliage and pure white fairylike flowers. It spreads to around 50cm and grows in height to 20cm, this is just what you need for low growing and perfect for chasing the weeds away as it expands beautifully as ground cover. Lesser periwinkle grows best in a sunny spot with partial shade and its spreading stems will thrive when grown in an alpine or rockery, it will creep gracefully and show off its trailing bright white blossom.
