Weigela florida ?Magical Rainbow? ? Weigela Weigela florida ?Magical Rainbow? is a reliable shrub, blooming from May to July it produces bright magenta tubular flowers. In June the blooms then fade and masses of colourful variegated foliage takes centre stage, each delicate leaflet has a deep lemon coloured margin which then transforms into a lovely pink as the warmer weather progresses. ?Magical Rainbow? spreads and grows in height to around 120cm, perfect for growing in a container on a patio as a specimen plant ? but also great for adding to a sunny border for some structure, colour and height.
