Weigela florida ‘Polka’ has nectar-rich flowers that are lightly perfumed and entice pollinating insects. In the summer, the arching branches of this spreading deciduous shrub are adorned with delicate pink trumpet-shaped blooms. When grown in mixed borders, the foliage is a unique dark blue-green colour that forms a thick cloak of leaves that makes an outstanding background for summer flowering perennials.
