As the name suggests, the fragrant flowers are a superb lavender-blue shade that certainly draws the eye. The pinnate summer foliage creates an attractive leafy screen, covering walls with ease. This stunning cultivar is particularly hardy. A particularly fine variety of a classic cottage garden climber. Height: 7m (22′). Spread: 3m (10′). Supplied as a grafted plant.Culinary note: The flowers are the only edible part of the plant and can be made into an aromatic wine. Their flavour is perfumed.
