Description
Yucca filamentosa
Yucca filamentosa is a tiny, stemless evergreen shrub with sword-shaped deep-green leaves up to 75 cm in length that form clumps. Late in the summer, towering spikes of creamy-white, bell-shaped flowers reach a height of roughly 2 meters. Adam’s needle and thread, or Adam’s needle and thread, is a magnificent focal point for a sunny, well-drained Mediterranean-style garden. We recommend planting in a location where you won’t brush against the sharp points and serrated edges of the foliage. Height: 1m (3′). Spread: 1.5m (5′)
